First Trip to Australia

In May 24th, 2008 was the first time for Touch's Family landed in Australia. It was their all firsts though. It is so exciting to see the complete different world to Cambodia.

The airport is so big.
The roads are clean and have more than two lanes. Some places you can see the road with 6 to 8 lanes and just one way to go where you won't see any cars coming toward you at all. You hardly see any motobikes on the roads except all cars and trucks.

The houses are different from the houses in Cambodia. All of the houses built out of concrete and some places you can see it is so high which is about 20 or even higher than that.

The weather is cold and cooler than it is in Cambodia in this time. It drops down to 10 or 6 degree C at night and early in the morning. So you'll need to put on jacket or jumpers in the house and outside the house.

The Aussie communities are so quiet compares to Cambodian communities where you can hear dogs bark, rooster, funeral and wedding ceremony's speakers blows out very loud till you can hear in between 2 to 3 km around. It's private here in Australia, which is good. People are friendly though. They smiles, they wave to each other.

We thanks Pastor Andrew Cook and his family and His Team for making this possible for us to be in Australia. Thanks Aussie friends !!! We love you all.

Anyway, It's wonderful!
But Praise God that He put us in Cambodia for purposes and destiny. Love you my God.
All Praises to my Heavenly Father, my Lord Jesus Christ, my Comforter Holy Spirit.
We love you.

Upbringing Story of Touch

Chenna and Simmy were raised in Buddhist homes before they became Christians. As young people they frequently visited the witchdoctor or fortunetellers when they were sick or going through hard times. Their homes included a 'spirit house' to encourage the presence of familiar spirits. Ancestral spirits were also worshipped.

As a child Chenna began going to a church weekly just to receive a five kg bag of rice to feed his family. Later when the rice ran out he continued attending church and started to read the Bible. Finally as a teenager he made a commitment and received Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour.

Chenna grew up spiritually very fast. After being baptized in the Holy Spirit he had a burning desire to worship God, and after teaching himself to play keyboard and guitar, was soon leading worship in his local church.

Having excellent English skills and previous experience as a translator, Chenna came to work in the Heartland Bible College of 2004, interpreting classes for Bible College Deans, Terry and Elizabeth Schroder.

At the end of Bible College, Chenna and Simmy were asked to remain on staff to assist in pastoring the first Heartland church planted in Kampong Cham.

Chenna has a great anointing on his life for worship and teaching of the Word. His wife Simmy is gifted in Children's work and evangelism. Together they are an awesome team.

God Is Restoring Cambodia !!!

God is restoring Cambodia and He is restoring the Killing Field to be the Harvest Field and blessings to the nation and nations. He is bringing prosperity to this nation again and even better than before.

We see that the Kingdom of God reigns in the heart of Cambodian. We see restoration from all areas of Cambodian Families restored and reconciled to God by the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of Jesus Christ.

We believe that God the Creator of all is bringing the holistic revival to Cambodian Nation and bringing this nation back to Him. The blessings of Love, Mercy, Forgiveness, Righteousness, Hope, Salvation, Holiness, Finance, Health, Reconciliation, will flow to the families, communities, and societies of Cambodia.God bless Cambodia. “Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and forevermore. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same then Lord’s name is to be praised”. (Psalms 113: 2-3) Praise God!

It’s all about Jesus. It’s Him that build His church as He said. God keep adding more people to His church everyday in Cambodia. Just in Heartland Church today over 10 people has given their lives to Jesus as their personal God. John said: “I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I comes, the thong of whose shoes I am not worthy to untie: He shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire”. (Luke 3: 16)

Jesus baptizes His church today with Fire of the Holy Spirit. Everybody was touched by their Lord through Holy Spirit. People is flowing to Jesus, longing to be touched by the gentle hand of God. And yes, Jesus never disappoint His brothers and sisters. He pours His heart to them by His very Grace and mercy. No one can stop these people glorifying Jesus. No one can stop these people coming to Jesus. People are hungry for the Grace of God, It’s only Him that can touch their hearts. It’s only Him that can set them free. Oh! Jesus, changes, and deliverance take place when you come.

Every week, changes take place in these lives. They are now fruitful. Everybody is passionate to share the Gospel of Grace and praying for the needs. Heartland team has put their hands and heads together to work with the Lord when they see where He moves. It’s not our visions but His vision. It’s not our plan but His plan. It’s nothing without Christ. The builder build in vain when God doesn’t build it. And what happen when God build his church, He share His heart with us and invite us to join with Him to build his church. Don’t wait friends, it’s now the time to go with Him to set our brothers and sisters free from bondage.

Church, I am proud of you to obey the Lord. You have done a wonderful job team. Heartland Church has been being developed to another level where everybody is passionate to use their gifts to serve God everyday. Friends, please remember to pray for these great men and women of God. “My heart is to see more evangelists, pastors, teachers, , preachers, and prophets through out Cambodia. I see lots of great teams rising up in Cambodia harvesting souls” (Channa Touch).
